Mastering
The mastering process is one that should nearly never be omitted in a music project. This finalizing process adds the final nuances and finishing touches to your ultimately mixed music piece. At CleverSound we seek to add nothing new to your music; only to make is as audible and clear as demanded by the multitude of media devices, through which you will hear your works.
Let it be clear that CleverSound Studio’s mastering process is bound by the understanding that the artist is entrusting theĀ sound engineer to render the artist’s music into a clear and adequately loud piece of music, pre-determined to meld with the genre in which it’s meant to sit. The process is not meant to over-expose the song beyond pleasant audible levels.
The guiding best practices that we use at CleverSound Studio include:
- loud but not too loud
- clear, transparent mastering
- alteration at minimal-to-none
- pleasant but not piercing
